ANALYSIS SYSTEM AGROFORESTRY DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODETRADISIONAL OLEH MASYARAKAT SEKITAR HUTAN DESA MODAYAG TIMURKECAMATAN MODAYAG

Abstrak

 The aim of this study is describing the traditional agroforestry system implemented by
the community around the forest in East Modayag Village, Modayag District, which was done on
September to October 2024. The approach method was through a purposive sampling technique
involving 9 sample plots, each plot with a size of 100 m x 100 m in garden and yard land. The result
of this study found that the traditional agroforestry system in East Modayag Village has a component
type that is classified in the category of agrisilvicultural systems, while in the yard the agroforestry
system is classified in the category of agrosilvopastural systems. it indicates that a mixed pattern that
is dominated by types of coffee, nutmeg, cocoa, cloves, and coconut plants for plantation crops, langsat
and durian for fruit crops, corn for food crops, nantu for woody trees and other types of agricultural
crops, namely chili, pineapple, banana and vanilla. From the results of this study, there are dominant
plant types but the arrangement pattern is still carried out randomly.
