PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DIPADU MEDIA GAMBAR PADA KONSEP BAKTERI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 2 MANADO

It has been a concern that learning process merely takes place using unsuitable models or methods, involving mainly the teachers (teacher-centered) while leaving the students passive. This current research aims to know the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) learning method, in combination with picture media, on the learning outcomes of class X SMA N 2 Manado when learning about bacteria concept. This is an experimental research,employing randomized only group post-test design. The population was all students of class X (N=85). Samples were drawn randomly, resulting in two classes (X2 and X3) of control and experiment, respectively(n=26 for each class). Post-test results were analyzed statistically using t-test. It was found that tcount = 32.7, ttab = 2.01, which means that tcount> ttab. This research shows that there is a difference between experimental class and control class, which used conventional method on bacteria concept in class X SMA N 2 Tondano.
