PENGARUH WAKTU APLIKASI PUPUK KANDANG AYAMTERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN CABAI RAWIT(CAPSICUM FRUTESCENS. L)

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of different application times of chicken manure basal fertilizer on the growth and production of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). The research was conducted in Bulud Village, Passi District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency from April to July 2018. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of different application times of chicken manure: 0 days before planting (K0), 3 days before planting (K1), 6 days before planting (K2), 9 days before planting (K3), 12 days before planting (K4), and 15 days before planting (K5). Variables observed included plant height at 10, 20, and 30 Days After Planting (DAP) and fruit weight per plant. Analysis of variance results showed that the different application times of chicken manure had no significant effect on plant height or fruit weight production. This indicates that the application interval of chicken manure between 0 to 15 days before planting did not significantly affect the vegetative and generative growth of cayenne pepper under the research environmental conditions.
